Honey, Baby, Sweetheart by Deb Caletti.
Ruby McQueen is a sixteen year old girl who is in love with Travis. Ruby knows he’s a bad influence. He has shown it numerous times and Ruby realized she doesn’t want anything to do with him. She joins her mother’s book club to keep busy and stay away from Travis. In the book club they talk about love books. The book club actually knows the author of one of the books. He writes about how he wants to be with his long lost lover, but she’s in the nursing home and in critical care. So the book club decides to kidnap her and take her to California to her long lost lover. The woman in the nursing home is ok with this and wants to go as well, but can’t do it on her own. Would you ever take the risk of kidnapping the lady from the nursing home to her long lost lover? Do you think they can get away with it?

  1. Yes, I would take the risk of kidnapping someone, from a nursing home, to bring them back to their long lost lover. The adventure of bringing them would be amazing! I think they could get away with it. If they try hard enough, the plan can be a success.

  2. Yes. Losing true love sould never happen. I would take the risk beacuse I'd want to help the two get back to eachother and express their feelings. Nothing is as beautiful as true love. and every one deserves to have it.
